Program configuration settings can be customized with the Configuration Wizard, which is accessible via the Settings menu item in section 6 of the Main Screen.

You don't have to walk through the entire Configuration Wizard. You can click Finish to persist the settings at any time.

Step 1 - Database Settings

Here you can change the path to the FB TraceManager 3 database and the user/password combination. So, if you want to use the FB TraceManager 3 database with a regular Firebird 2.5 or higher server, change the Database entry accordingly.

Hint: Database settings take affect after re-starting FB TraceManager 3.

Step 2 - Trace Sessions

Here you can set the default behaviour for re-fetching the trace session list and for the trace data storage mechanism. These are initial settings when the logged in Windows user is using FB TraceManager 3 the first time. They will be overwritten once the dialogs, where these settings are used, have been called at least once. These are connecting to a server fetching the trace session list and when starting a new trace session.

Step 3 - Report
