While Database Workbench is a native Windows 64 bit application, you can use it on Linux and macOS using emulators or virtual machines.

It's easy to install and use Database Workbench using Wine.

Wine Requirements

In order to successfully use Database Workbench on Wine, you need to do the following:

1.install a 64 bit version of wine
2.install DXVK, a translation layer for Direct3D to Wine
3.use Winecfg to create the following dll overrides:

d2d1

bulltin

d3d11

native

dxgi

native

This should do the trick.

Limitations

Database Workbench cannot detect "dark mode" on Linux. If you want dark mode, you have to force it in the Preferences.
