Advanced Data Generator 3, beta 3 released
Upscene Productions is happy to announce the third public beta
of the next major version of their Windows based test data generator tool:
"Advanced Data Generator 3"
This beta release includes a beta for the Firebird, MySQL and InterBase Edition.
A fast test-data generator tool that comes with a library of real-life data, can generate data into your database, XML Data Files, SQL script, CSV files, has many filling options, templates and much more.
Changes in beta 3:
- - Fixed CSV Lookup "index out of range" error when selecting a file in the CSV Lookup Properties with less than 5 rows
- - Fixed not being able to edit blob templates
- - Fixed possible error binding ODBC parameters for BINARY/BLOB columns on drivers not supported parameter describing
- - Fixed possible ODBC error with NULL values on drivers not supported parameter describing
- - Fixed memory leak on database connection failed when creating new project
- - Fixed "list index out of bounds" message when opening and using a project for which a "master item" has disappeared from the database
- - Fixed error with custom SQL statement and using a column based on another
- - Fixed #599 - "empty table" log message for tables not set to empty
- - Fixed that errors while deleting rows aren't shown on screen

- + added sample project database script for InterBase, Sybase SQL Anywhere, Oracle
- + #598 - ability to get metadata for a blob file (eg: filesize, filename)
- + "external file folder", so that all files in a specific folder can easily be moved around
