Advanced Data Generator v1.5.1 released!

This new version of the Advanced Data Generator brings you several fixes for bugs reported in the 1.5.0 release.

Changes for v1.5.1
Fixes:
  • Running multiple projects returned an Access Violation
  • Creating a "custom SQL" while the "Project Options" page was active resulted in a "cannot focus disabled or invisible window" error
  • Setting "fill with" to "Referential Link" for Custom SQL-items showed properties for "value from list"
  • Boolean data in INSERT scripts was quoted
  • Some changes to datetime/date/time data generation
  • Setting "fill with" to "Link to Generator" not supported in CSV files
  • Setting "fill with" to "Link to Generator" would fail for INSERT scripts
  • ADO: MS Access via ADO could fail on non-string fields due to wrong parameter type being reported

There are four versions available of this tool:
  • Pro Edition
    Supports ADO and ODBC connectivity, a very generic but powerful tool

  • InterBase Edition
    Supports InterBase, better datatype recognition and faster than via ODBC/ADO

  • Firebird Edition
    Supports Firebird, better datatype recognition and faster than via ODBC/ADO

  • MySQL Edition
    Supports MySQL via direct connectivity, better datatype recognition and no MySQLLib required
