The Command Line DataPump

The command-line version of the DataPump tool can be used to execute (run) a previously saved DataPump project. These projects can be created in the GUI version of the DataPump. You cannot use the command-line DataPump without a pump-project.
The command-line version can be used from the Windows Scheduler services, a batch file or the command prompt. This can be very useful for large or periodic transfers that need or can be ran at night. For more information, see:
Note: Saved pump-projects contain database passwords - although they are somewhat encrypted, it's not a strong encryption! |
