The Advanced Data Generator and its documentation uses the following data types, comparable database data types are listed.

 

Data type

Database data types

Text

Character data, can be Unicode

CHAR, VARCHAR, NCHAR, NVARCHAR, GUID

Integer

A number without a decimal component

INTEGER, SMALLINT, TINYINT, LARGEINT, BYTE, WORD

Number

A number with a decimal component

REAL, FLOAT, DOUBLE

Date/Time

A date, time or combined "date/time" value, no "duration"

DATE, TIME, DATETIME, TIMESTAMP

Large Binary

Sequence of bytes of specified or unspecified length

BLOB, IMAGE, VARBINARY, BINARY

Large Text

Large pieces character data, can be Unicode

TEXT, NTEXT

Boolean

Either "1" or "0", "True" or "False

BIT, BOOLEAN

GUID

A "globally unique identifier"

UUID, GUID, UNIQUEIDENTIFIER
